Wild Berry Almond Smoothie

This smoothie makes an excellent post workout drink. Almond milk which contains about 4% of our recommended daily intake of iron, helps muscles absorb and use protein for energy, growth and repair. Blueberries are known for their high antioxidant content which neutralize oxidative damage that lead to tissue destruction.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 scoop Sun Warrior raw plant-based chocolate protein
  • 1 tbsp ground flax-seed powder
  • 1/4 cup wild blueberries
  • 1 banana

Instructions

Put all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Serve right away

Yield: 2 cups
